PSG silence the Etihad with stunning Champions League victory

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a spectacular performance at the Etihad Stadium, defeating Manchester City 4-2 in a thrilling UEFA Champions League encounter.

The reigning European champions wasted little time asserting their dominance, producing a devastating attacking display that left the home crowd stunned. Désiré Doué opened the scoring in the 13th minute before Ousmane Dembélé doubled the advantage just two minutes later.

Vitinha added a third in the 32nd minute, completing a remarkable first half for Luis Enrique's side and leaving Manchester City facing an uphill battle.

The hosts responded after the break, with Erling Haaland pulling one back in the 53rd minute. However, Maghnes Akliouche restored PSG's three-goal advantage shortly afterward, putting the French champions firmly back in control.

Haaland struck again in the 75th minute, but despite City's late pressure and several dangerous opportunities, Paris held on to secure a memorable victory.

The evening also marked Pep Guardiola's return to the Etihad as a spectator, watching his former club suffer its first defeat under Enzo Maresca.

With two victories from their opening two Champions League matches, PSG continue to demonstrate why they remain one of Europe's most formidable teams, combining attacking brilliance with the confidence of reigning champions.
