Paris Basketball lifts the Supercoupe at Roland-Garros

Paris Basketball claimed the first trophy of its season with an 81-59 victory over Chorale Roanne in the Supercoupe final at Roland-Garros.

Played on the iconic Court Philippe-Chatrier, the final remained extremely tight throughout the first half, with Roanne holding a narrow 22-21 advantage at the break. Paris then completely changed the momentum after halftime, scoring 60 points in the second half to take control of the game.

Tyson Etienne played a major role in Paris’ second-half surge as the capital club pulled away to secure the first Supercoupe title in its history.

The victory completed a successful weekend at Roland-Garros for Paris, who had defeated Nanterre in the semifinal the previous day. It also gave new head coach Maxime Lefèvre his first trophy in charge of the club, just days before the start of Paris Basketball’s EuroLeague campaign.
